  Miss Janet R. Hall The death occurred at the home of her nephew, J. W. Watson, on Sunday evening, Feb. 14th, of Miss Janet Rutherford Hall, in her 81st year, after an illness of some five weeks. Deceased was born in Galt in 1851, being the third daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Hall, pioneer residents of North Dumfries township. She lived in this district practically all of her lifetime and was highly esteemed by many old friends. Miss Hall was a member of Knox United Church of long standing. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Kenneth McKenzie, near Bright, and one brother, Robt. D. Hall of Toronto. The funeral, which was private, took place to the Ayr Cemetery on Tuesday afternoon, with Rev. J. W. Currie in charge of the services. The pallbearers were: J. W. Henderson, F, E. Robinson, William Manson, Andrew G. Laurie, Morton Guthrie and A. G. Watson. The Ayr News Feb 18 1932 pg 10
