  Hummel, Dodie (Mrs. John) - On Thursday, July 4, 1991, at K-W Hospital, Dodie Hummel, in her 45th year, of Elmira. Beloved wife of John Hummel; dear mother of Jeffrey and Matthew, both at home; granddaughter of Robert Ross of Toronto. Predeceased by her parents, Lawrence and Kathleen LeBlanc. Dodie will be remembered for her many community activities and volunteer work in the Elmira area. Friends may call at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, after 7 p.m. today (Saturday), where the family will receive their friends tonight 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At 9 a.m. Monday, transfer will be made to Trinity United Church, Elmira for funeral service at 11 a.m. with The Rev. J. Douglas Kellough officiating, followed by interment in Elmira Union cemetery. In her memory, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
