  FORBES, Lorraine (Mrs. Harry) - Peacefully, on Sunday, Oct. 15, 2006, at Forest Heights Long Term Care Centre, Kitchener, Lorraine (Esch) Forbes in her 87th year, formerly of Elmira.Beloved wife of the late Harry Forbes (Oct. 1, 1994). Loving grandma of Jeanne Cherry of Kitchener and great-grandma of Jordan and Jennifer Cherry. Dear sister of Eleanor and Jim Burke of Exeter, Wilma Flewwelling of Burton, Michigan, Ruth Parnham of Burlington. Lorraine will also be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews and their families.Predeceased by her parents, Orville and Edith (Weigel) Esch and her daughter, Karen Herrington (2003). The family will receive their friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2006 from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Hans Borch officiating, followed by interment in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Elmira. In her memory, donations to St. James Lutheran Church would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
