Notes |
- A well-known man, in the person of Mr. Martin Götz, has departed from this life. He was born in 1847 in Woolwich Township and moved in 1878 to Kenilworth, Wellington County, where he had lived ever since. In the year, 1901, the provincial government called him to the position of Justice of Peace; he was also one of the main supporters of the Catholic church under construction in Kenilworth. A large crowd of people attended the burial and there were over 200 vehicles in the funeral procession. A widow and twelve children mourn the loss of husband and father.
