  Death of Mrs. Becker Death claimed another victim in the person of Mrs. Peter Becker on Sunday morning. The cause of her death was pneumonia which was preceded by an attack of la grippe. Her early demise at the age of 35 years and 2 months has deprived five small children, the eldest a girl of twelve, the youngest boy only six months old,o f a loving mother's care. The funeral took place at 1.30 p.m., Wednesday, to St. John's Lutheran church where a short service was held by Pastor Arendt and thence to Mount Hope Cemetery for interment. Mrs. Becker nee Annie Schoenholtz daughter of Adem Schoenholtz was born in North Easthope and was married to Mr. Becker fifteen years ago last February. Eight years ago they came to Waterloo from Milverton, where they have lived ever since, Mr. Becker being in the employ of Mr. Joseph E. Seagram.
