    • In Loving Memory Died. In Wilmot, on Saturday, July 14th, 1900, George Peppler, Aged: 81 years, 1 month and 12 days, Funeral will leave the residence of Mr. John Steiner on Tuesday, the 17th inst., at 1 o'clock P.M., for the Lutheran Church, New Hamburg, thence to Geiger's Cemetery.

      George Peppler, aged 81, died of heart failure on Saturday, 14th inst. He was one of the pioneers of Waterloo County, born in Hessian, Germany, in 1819. He emigrated to this country in 1841, locating in the town of Waterloo. Some years ago he retired from active life and made his residence with his son-in-law, Mr. John Steiner, Bleam's road, with his wife, who survives him. He also leaves 9 children, 19 grand- children and 4 great-grandchildren.
