  Mrs. Clara Adler dies at 65 years; Rites Saturday Mrs. Clara Adler, 85, a resident of St. Joseph for the past 30 years and widow of the late Carl Adler, died at 11 p. m. Tuesday at her home, 400 Lake St., St. Joseph. She had been ill since last October. Mrs. Adler was born June 20, 1875 in Canada. Her husband passed away four years ago. She was a member of St. Peters Evangelical church of St. Joseph and a member of the churche's Ladies Aid Society. Surviving are one daughter. Mrs. Erna Miller, of St. Joseph; three sisters, Mrs. Ernest Schlutt, Granger Indi.; Mrs. Joseph Ducyzkowski, South Bend; Ind. And Mrs. John Lausman of Baroda; two brothers Alfred and Harry Lien of Baroda; and a very close friend Miss Ida Mielenz, who has lived with Mrs. Adler for several years. The funeral will be held at 2: 30 p. m. Saturday at St. Peters Evangelical church St. Joseph with the Rev. E. A. Kuhn officiating. Burial will be in Ruggles cemetery near Baroda. The body will lie in state at the church from 11 a. m. until 2: 20 Saturday The News Palladium August 14 1940. ______________________ Married three times one marriage is to a "Robert James Walker" married May 3 1898 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois and Richard Robert Ott and at the time of her death she was the widow of Carl Adler
