    • Another old Resident passes. - On Saturday afternoon, after a short illness, Mr. Bernhard Moyer passed peacefully away. The deceased was one of St. Jacobs oldest residents, having resided here upwards of 60 years, being only a child when he first came to St, Jacobs. He was well and favorably known throughout this section. The funeral, which was held from his late residence, Yonge St., to Lutheran cemetery on Tuesday afternoon, was largely attended. Rev. Mr. Hansen conducted burial and church services. Besides a sorrowing widow, there are four daughters, Ellen, Mary, Emma and Florence at home; also three sons, Oliver at home, Addison at Galt, and Alexander, Waterloo, who mourn the loss of a kind and loving husband and father. Philip, of St. Jacobs, John and Adam, of Waterloo, are brothers. The bereaved family have the heartfelt sympathy of their many friends in their sad bereavement.

Church Services: Lutheran, no service; Evangelical Sunday evening, 7.30.
