  AIKENS, JAMES The funeral of Mr. Aikens took place on Tuesday afternoon from St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church to the Hespeler Cemetery. He was in his 89th year and before his removal to Hamilton, where he resided with his daughter until his death on Sunday evening, October 12, 1919, had resided for many years on the 3rd concession of Puslinch and was well known and highly respected by a wide circle. He was predeceased some years ago by his wife and one son and is survived by two sons and three daughters. The services were conducted by Dr. Dougall of Hamilton. Many old friends from Hespeler attended. -Information from the death certificate: Born in County Tyrone, Ireland. Died at 147 King William St. in Hamilton.
