  • Notes
    • With indescribable suffering and deepest sorrow we make this sad announcement to all our relatives, friends and acquaintances, that our dear and loving, and never-to-be-forgotten son John Stoyanchevich a pupil of the Primer Class of the Preston Central School, was drowned on Saturday, January 10th, 1930, in the afternoon, at 3 o'clock, in the Speed River, and has committed his youthful, angelic soul to Almighty God. The surviving parents and relatives have had opened thereby an enduring wound in their hearts and have been plunged into deepest sorrow. Deceased was born on the greatest of Christian Festivals, Christmas Day, December 25th, 1922, in Jugoslovakia. The Funeral will be held on Thursday, January 16th at 2.30 p.m., when the remains will be conveyed from the residence of his parents, 155 Fountain Street, to Preston Cemetery and committed to Mother Earth for the last peaceful rest. Godfearing friends are kindly invited to accompany our young and innocent angel-child on the day of burial to the last resting-place and to exercise Christian Prayers.
