  BROWN, Melvin L. -- On Tuesday, Oct. 26, 1982, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Melvin Leo Brown, aged 86 years, of 7 Locust St., Kitchener. Dear husband of the former Irene Woods; brother of Erma Moser of Palm Bay, Fla., Royal and his wife Mabel of Dearborn, Mich.; brother-in law of Mabel Murdie of Kitchener. Predeceased by his brothers, Ira, Fraser and Maurice; his sisters, Idella Burn and Mildred Hinton; his father, Samuel Brown and his mother, the former Florina Seibert of Crediton. He was a member of Zion United Church, where he was a tenor soloist for many years; a member of the Rockway Senior Citizen's Glee Club; an employee of Kitchener PUC, until his retirement and had served overseas during the First World War with the Signal Corp. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 2 p.m. on Thursday, where the family will be in attendance from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel, Friday at 1 p.m. Rev F.J.
