- Mrs. M. Bruechle Died, in West
Death of Well Known Elmira Resident
After an illness extending over many months, the death took place at Coronation, Alberta, on Tuesday, October 12th, 1920 of Martha Bott, wife of the late Christian Breuchle, at the age of 71 years, 5 months and 3 days.
The late Mrs. Breuchle had been visiting her daughter and son in the west and last winter took ill, suffering a paralytic stroke. At the time of her death she was a patient at the Coronation Hospital. The deceased lady was the daughter of the late Herman Bott and was born near St. Jacobs. She was married on March 9th, 1875 to the late Christian Breuchle, who predeceased her in February 1903.
She is survived by two daughters, Miss Lavina, at home and Mrs. Gordon Kaiser, of Coronation, Alta., with whom she was visiting at the time of her death, and one son, Israel, at Alsask, Sask., also three sisters, Mrs. Henry Schlegel, North Dakota; Mrs. John Gies, Kitchener; Mrs. Fred Wieck, Cleveland, Ohio, and two brothers, John Bott of North Woolwich and David Bott of Kitchener. One son predeceased her.
The funeral it is expected at the time of writing, will be held on Sunday, October 24th, at two o'clock, from her late residence on Arthur street, Elmira, to the Evangelical Church for service and thence to the Union Cemetery for interment. Owing to the great distance the remains will have to be brought, the date of the funeral is not definite. To the sorrowing family in their heavy loss sustained by death of a good mother, the Signet extends its sincerest sympathy.
Elmira Signet, October 21, 1920

In Memoriam
In loving memory of our dear mother, Martha Brauchle, who departed this life Oct. 12, 1920. And dear father, Christian Brauchle, who departed this life Feb. 19, 1903.
I miss you at a thousand turns along life's weary way,
And when the evening shades are falling
And I am all alone,
There often comes a longing, if only you could come.
But dear is the spot where mother and father are laid,
Sweet are the memories that never shall fade,
Fond hopes are cherished that one day we will meet.
Kneeling together at Jesus' feet.
Sadly missed by Lavina
Elmira Signet, Thursday, October 12, 1922
