  Hackert, Edith (Mrs. Ernest) - Peacefully, on Tuesday, March 21, 2000, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Edith (Dreisinger) Hackert, in her 81st year, of Waterloo, formerly of Elmira. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Hackert. Loving mother of Bill Hackert of North Bay and David and his wife Margaret Hackert of Elmira. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Robert and Paul, Chad, Andrew and Laura and great-grandchildren, Michael, Tate, Mandy-Mae and Nicholas; dear sister of Otto Dreisinger of Elmira and Dora Dreisinger of Kitchener. Predeceased by her parents, John O. Dreisinger and Hannah Grosz; one son, Robert; one brother Oscar and one sister, Margaret Dreisinger. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. On Friday morning at 9 a.m., transfer will be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Elmira for funeral service at 11 a.m., with Rev. Richard Frey officiating, followed by interment in Elmira Union Cemetery. In her memory, donations to St. Paul's Lutheran Church Endowment Fund would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 22 Mar 2000
