- Mrs. Leah Witmer
Brown City. May 24 - Mrs. Leah Witmer, 82, widow of Jacob L. Witmer. died Tuesday in the Wilson Nursing Home here after a long illness.
She was born Nov. 2. 1867. in Ontario. and came to Michigan with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Rosenberger. when a child. Mr. Witmer. to whom she was married Jan. 5. 1910. died in 1934.
Surviving are three brothers, Eli Rosenberger, New Dundee. Ont., Edwin and Oziah Rosenberger. both in the Canadian Northwest: a niece, Miss Priscilla Clemens. Brown City. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the United Missionary church, of which she was a member. Rev. H. E. Mattesen. pastor. will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The remains are in the Carman Funeral Home.
