  Mrs. Maryann Umbach By Record Correspondent ALMA -Mrs. Maryann Umbach, 83, widow of Samuel Umbach, died Wednesday at the home of her son, Norman, of Alma, after a long illness. A daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gross, she was born in Woolwich Township March 31, 1876. She had lived in Elmira prior to moving to her son's place seven years ago. She was married to Robert Atkinson who died Oct. 4, 1924. She was married to Samuel Umbach who died May 19, 1938. Surviving are two sons, Norman of Alma and Kenneth of Elmira. Four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive. She was predeceased by one son, Albert Atkinson, who was killed overseas during the Second World War; three daughters, one brother and one sister. The body is at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira, where the funeral will be conducted in the chaped Saturday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Floradale Lutheran Cemetery. Rev.
