  Mary Faust, aged 81, died at the Ontario Hospital, Cobourg, on Friday. The funeral was held on July 2nd from the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral home to Woodland cemetery, Kitchener. Rev. W. H. Knauff officiated. She was born in Woolwich township, and is survived by one brother, Henry Faust, of Gilbert Plains, Alta. Three sisters predeceased her, Mrs. August Jansen of Centreville, Mrs. Abram Strohm of Kitchener, and Mrs. Elizabeth Leven of Hamilton. Waterloo Chronicle 6 Jul 1933, p. 5
