  Elizabeth P. Martin, "the third daughter of Peter G. Martin, was born June 25th, 1857. On April 9th, 1879, she was married to Jacob B. Brubacher. They reside on a farm in north-east Woolwich, near her brother, Henry P. Martin. Their family consists of six children". Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character. Berlin [Kitchener, Ont.]: [s.n.]. ____________ Mrs. Elizabeth Brubacher, wife of Jacob Brubacher, of Farmersville, died Sunday afternoon, while on the visit to the family of Amos Horst, of near town. She was 72 years of age. She had attended church services in the morning and then called on the Horst family, apparently in good health. Death was due to apoplexy. Besides her husband, the following children survive: Peter Brubacher, Brutus, Michigan; Katie, wife of Eli Bauman, Canada; Henry, Selinsgrove; Mary, wife of Eli Stauffer, Ephrata; Amos, Waterloo, Canada; Barbara, at home; Isaac, Chicago, Ill. Forty-two grandchildren, three brothers and one sister also survive. The brothers are: Peter, Christian and Jonathan Martin, of Canada and the sister, Mrs. Anna Bergert, of Canada. Funeral services were held at the late home in Farmersville, Thursday afternoon at 12:30 o'clock with further services at 2:00 o'clock in the Pike Mennonite church, near Hinkletown.
