  John G. Martin, "the seventh and youngest son of David and Maria (Guth) Martin, was born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, May 28th, 1819. When a year old his parents moved to Canada and settled in Waterloo County, near Lexington, where he died in November, 1834." Eby, Ezra E. (1895).
