  MRS. GEORGE D. LEWIS The death occurred in Glen Rock, N.J., on Tuesday. June 7, of Isabella Linton, widow of the late George D. Lewis. a former principal of the Ayr Public School. Mrs. Lewis was the mother of Adam L. and J. L. Lewis, now of Toronto. and Mrs. H. S. Head and Mrs. R. J. Spencer. One daughter is in Winnipeg and the other resides in New Jersey. Mrs. Lewis, who was in her 83rd year. was also an aunt of Miss Jean Linton, Galt. The funeral took place to Ayr Cemetery on Thursday morning at 11.30. The Ayr News Jun 16 1938 pg 5
