  BAUMAN, Catharine (Katie) Peacefully went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 29, 2010 at Chateau Gardens, Elmira in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Urias S. Bauman (1986). Loving mother of Mahlon and Edna, Irene and Mervin Snyder, all of Elmira, Abner and Rosalie of Prospect Heights, Illinois, Leona and Mike Bastiaansen of Embro, and Nyle and Kathy of Elmira. Fondly remembered by her eleven grandchildren and nineteen greatgrandchildren. Predeceased by one son Elmer (1966), her parents Aaron and Lovina (Martin) Hoffman, four brothers and one sister. Katie was a faithful member of Wallenstein Bible Chapel. Relatives and friends will be received at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted at Wallenstein Bible Chapel on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 2 p.m. followed by interment in the Hawkesville Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Conestoga Bible Camp or Chateau Gardens Auxiliary would be appreciated by the family.
