• Notes

  PAINFUL ACCIDENT r. Louis Pfaff, in the employ of the Waterloo Manfg. Co., met with a very painful accident on 21st. ult. While feeding the buzzsaw he attempted to catch a rough piece of board which was going through and accidentally had his fingers caught in the machine. It caught the second and third fingers of his left hand, which had to be amputated at the second joint. Another finger was also badly injured. He is now at the home of his parents in Elmira and is doing as well as can be expected. Chronicle. THE ELMIRA ADVERTISER October 5, 1893
