  WEDDING BELLS - Last Wednesday evening St. Paul's Lutheran church was the scene of one of the those interesting events which always cause a ripple of excitement in the com-munity. The occasion was the marriage of Mr. Jacob Aberle, a well-known and respected young man of the neighborhood, to Miss Mary Geisel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Geisel of Woolwich Township. The ceremony was performed by Rev. W.C. Boese of Berlin, and was witnessed by a large number of spectators. Miss L. Geisel, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid while Mr. August Pfaff assisted the groom through the trying ordeal. After the wedding the young couple went to their future home on the Muth farm in Woolwich where a merry evening was spent by the young people who had been invited there. We join their many friends in wishing the young couple a long and prosperous married life. THE ELMIRA ADVERTISER January 12, 1899.
