  Edward Schweitzer CONESTOGA - Edward Schweitzer, 70, died at Toronto yesterday following a long illness. He was a native of Conestoga. Surviving are his wife, two sons, William, Toronto; Walter, Preston; three daughters, Mrs. Melvin (Phyllis) Hahn, Waterloo, Mrs. Frank (Ruth) Ruggle, Belleville; and Georgianne, Toronto; one brother, Charles, Conestogo, and one sister Miss Marion Schweitzer, Conestogo. A private funeral service will be held at Toronto at 1 p.m. Saturday. The casket will remain open at the Conestogo Lutheran Church for some time to allow friends to pay their respects. Interment will be made in the Conestogo Cemetery. Rev. Harold Brose will officiate Kitchener-Waterloo Record 23 Jan 1953
