  SHANTZ, Beverly (Bev) Suddenly at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener on Saturday, January 9, 2010, at the age of 59 years. Bev Shantz (nee: Zimmerman) of Kitchener, dear wife and best friend of Dale Shantz. Loving mother of Tanya (Peter) Meyer and Kevin (Laura) Shantz. Dear daughter of Mildred and the late Carl Zimmerman of Kitchener, and beloved sister of Shirley (John) Houck. Dear aunt of Tim Houck, Kim Monk and Kerri Diggle and family. Bev was a legal assistant with Madorin and Snyder for over thirty years and she was all about family and friends and always willing to lend an ear and support. Bev's family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday, January 13, 2010 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A celebration of Bev's life will be conducted at Country Hills Evangelical Missionary Church, 1280 Ottawa Street South at Fischer Hallman Road, on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at 11: 00 a.m. with Pastor Jeremy Schuart officiating. Reception to immediately follow at the church. Interment at Weber Mennonite Cemetery. Special thank you to St. Mary's Hospital - ICU Staff, Dr. Strban, Dr. Langridge and Nurses, Dianne, Sarah, Kathy and Jocelyn.
