  Mrs. Sarah Henderson - The death occurred in Galt Hospital on Wednesday, Nov. 26th, of Mrs. Sarah Henderson Of Ayr, in her 73rd year, after an illness of several months. The late Mrs. Henderson came to Ayr to reside nine years ago. She was an adherent of the Presbyterian Church, a member of the women's association of the congregation and a member of the Ayr Women's Institute. She is survived by three daughters and one son, Mrs. Brown (Mildred) of London, Mrs. Roy Byerley (Agnes) of Detroit, Mrs. Robert De. Rose (Gladys) of Detroit, and Thomas of London. Also surviving are sisters, Miss Elizabeth Fair and Mrs. Robert Morrison, both of Ayr. Her husband, the late John Henderson of Ingersoll, predeceased her many years ago. The funeral took place from her late residence, St. Andrews street, on Saturday afternoon to the Ayr Cemetery. The services were in charge of Rev. W. J. McKeown, and the pallbearers were: J. E. Armstrong, J. A. Manson, H. L. Charles, Harold Cornford, John Henderson and Arthur Underwood. The Ayr News Dec 4 1947 pg 12
