  SCHNEIDER, Mrs. Emma - Peacefully following a brief illness, on August 4, 1993, at St. Mary's Hospital, the former Emma Elizabeth Rueffer in her 86th year, of Nithview Home, New Hamburg, formerly of Meadowcroft Place, Fieldgate. Beloved wife of the late Edward C. Schneider, who predeceased her in 1972. Cherished mother of Howard and his wife Kathy, Mildred and her husband Donald Kraft, all of Kitchener, Betty and her husband Donald Allgeier of New Hamburg, sister of Mary Schallhorn of Elmira and Irene Strack of Waterloo. Loving grandmother of Bradley, Stacy, Cyndi and Jennifer Schneider, Linda Bird, John, Gary, Gail and David Kraft and 10 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents, Conrad Rueffer and the former Elizabeth Lippert, three brothers, Peter, William and Conrad, four sisters, Ida Miller, Amelia Hofstetter, Elizabeth Huras and one in infancy and a grandson, Paul Schneider.Mrs. Schneider was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the Ladies Guild, the Happy Gang and the quilters of the church. Visitation at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and after 12.30 p.m. on Friday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 137 Queen St. S., Kitchener, where the funeral and committal service will take place at 2 p.m. (Friday) with Rev. Roger Winger officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Donations to St. Paul's Lutheran Church Building Fund or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario gratefully acknowledged.
