  BELK, Mary Barbara Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, April 29, 2016 at her residence, The Maples Home for Seniors, Tavistock. Mary was born 80 years ago in Wilmot Township and was the daughter of the late Lorne and Irene (Gascho) Roth. Mary will be missed by her step-children Gail Belk and Steve and his wife Beverly Belk all of New Hamburg. She will also be missed by her step-grandchildren Philip and James Belk. Dear sister of Marcella and husband Ned Graber of Red Lake, Fern and husband Paul Huber of Wellesley, Franklin and wife Mabel Roth of Nithburg, Esther and husband Marvin Good of R.R.#1 Milverton and James and wife Lorna Roth of Tara. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Mary is predeceased by her first husband Don Nichols (1984) and second husband Kenneth W. Belk (1998). Mary was a member of Grace Mennonite Church. Mary was quite active in Children Ministries in the New Hamburg area for many years. Friends and relatives are invited to visitation at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg today, Monday, May 2, 2016 from 1 - 4 and 6 - 9 p.m. At noon Tuesday, May 3, 2016 transfer will be made to Steinmann Mennonite Church, Baden where the service will be held at 2:00 p.m. with Pastors Earl Koch and Howard Bean officiating. Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or Christian Aid Ministries by contacting the funeral home.
