Through tears we watched you slipping, we watched you fade away.
Our hearts were almost broken, you fought so hard to stay.
When the end came peacefully and you were finally freed from pain.
We could not wish you back, to suffer that again.
So keep Your arms around her Lord and give her special care.
Make up for all she suffered and all that seemed unfair.
It's been five years, but it seems like yesterday.
Your loving husband, Dickand children, Rick and Karen, Jim, Mary and Larry, Rob and Eva and Sue and Pete.
