  In North Dumfries, on Friday morning 18th inst., at 3 o'clock, Margaret, relict of the late Thos. Scott, in the 75th year of her age. The deceased was a native of Cumberland Englan,d She was born in 1805 and came to Canada with her husband in 1832, settling the same year of the home-stead farm, now occupied by her youngest son Mr. James Scott. The deceased was left a widow in 1844. At the time of her death the deceased was surrounded by her family, who feel keenly the loss of her who had ever been the most exemplary of mothers.
