Notes |
- Mr. Good came from good old hardy Canadian stock, being born in Ontario, Canada. He moved to Marion county when a small boy and received his schooling in the rural schools from which he graduated. When in his teens he served an apprenticeship in banking with an elder brother, in a bank at Utah but most of his time was devoted to farming and stock raising until in 1903 he took a clerical position in the State Bank of Commerce and the following year was appointed Assistant Cashier, which position he fills at the present time. Two years ago he was elected Finance Commissioner of the city for a three year term. In civic affairs, Mr. Good is always considerate, conservative and progressive. Mr. Good believes Canada should be annexed to U.S. and to accomplish this in part, married a Canadian girl, bringing her across the border. He has two fine children and is an active member of the Evangelical church.
