  DALY, Joyce Edith (nee Wamsley) Our beautiful, kind and strong-willed mother passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday, May 29th, 2012, after just celebrating her 81st birthday at home with family, friends and neighbours. Joyce loved her family, her home and her garden. She was proudly independent, living in her own home with the support of her son, Scott and her wonderful neighbours. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Ken. Loving mother of Scott and Cherie (Aubrey). Caring grandmother of Kyle, Dylan and Justin Basdeo. Survived by sisters Maxine Kastner and Shirley Witt, she will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. We wish to thank the staff of the Palliative Care unit at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, for their sensitive care of our mother in her final weeks. At her request, no funeral service will be held. Interment of cremated remains will be held at Williamsburg Cemetery, Kitchener at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lakeridge Health Oshawa - Cancer Centre.
