  SCHMITT, Victor At St. Mary's Hospital, on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 1979, after a lengthy illness, Victor Schmitt, of 1980 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, aged 72 years. Had owned and operated Victor Schmitt Trucking until his retirement in 1972. Husband of the former Marjorie McCandless; father of Wayne and Mrs. Michael (Linda) Pevec, both of Kitchener; brother of Carl, Mrs. Beatrice Bonn, Mrs. Harvey (Gladys) Zeller and Mrs. Herbert (Violet) Gole, all of Kitchener. Three grandchildren also survive. Predeceased by his parents, one brother, Clarence and a sister, Matilda. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W. Kitchener, where the funeral service will be held on Friday at 2 p.m., with Dr. Henry W. Opperman officiating. Interment will be in Woodland cemetery.
