  Demise of Mrs. Robt. Davidson Aged Lady Passed Away at the Hospital on Monday Afternoon The death occurred at the Hospital on Monday afternoon of Jane Adams, aged 90 years, relict of the late Robert Davidson, of Dumfries. The deceased lady [with her husband crossed out] came to Canada from Oxford, England, 25 years ago, and has lived in Dumfries and Galt since her arrivial. Her husband predeceased her twelve years ago. The deceased was of sterling character and sympathetic nature and dore her long illness with Christian fortitude and patience. For the past year she had been in the hospital, where she endeared herself to all by her patience and kindliness Although suffering herself she took a deep interest in the welfare of the other patients, and her sweet disposition was not marred by her long period of suffering. She will be missed by a host of friends. The surviing relatives are three sons and four daughters, as follows: Messrs. A. J. Pitts, Centre Street, Galt; Frank Pitts, New Ontario; Geo. Pitts, in England; Mrs. Yates, Toronto; Mrs. John Mogg, Galt; [lettering crossed out, unreadable] and Mrs. Lee, in Englang; [Mrs. Jacobs, USA in handwriting] The funeral will take place to Trinity cemetery on Wednesday afternoon at 3 o clok, from the residence of Mrs. John Mogg, St. Andrews street. ____________________________ Her daughter came as a nanny, and then she and several children filtered over gradually.
