  Near Galt, on Saturday morning, March 20th, 1886, at ten minutes past 8 o'clock, Janet Little, wife of Walter Braidwood, aged 72 years, 1 month and 20 days. Galt Reporter Mar 6 1886 pg 8 ________________ Death of Mrs. Walter Braidwood We have before mentioned the serious illness of this aged and long resident of Galt. During the last week or more it was evident that her death was to be expected and it was therefore no surprise to the many friends of the family to hear on Saturday morning that she had passed to her eternal rest. Her son, Mr. Wm. Braidwood, was over from Pontiac, Michigan, a few days before her death, and while the end was evidently not far off, it was not expected so soon as it occurred, consequently business engagements compelled his return on Friday. For her aged husband, in the bitter hour of his sorrow, there is only left the warm sympathy of his many old friends. Galt Reporter Mar 6 1886 pg 1
