A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character. Berlin [Kitchener, Ont.]: [s.n.]. ________________________ partial obitaury Mrs. Mary Sararas, age 91, widow of the late Isaac Bock, died yesterday at the home of her son-in-law, Ervin Battler, RR2 Kitchener, after an illness of three weeks. Deceased was born in Wilmot Tp. on Jan. 1, 1849, a d/o the late Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Sararas. She was the last member of a family of 8 children. Following her marriage, Mrs. Bock farmed with her husband south of New Dundee until Mr. Bock's death in 1903. Since then she has made her home with her eldest daughter, Mrs. Battler. Surviving are two sons, Nathaniel of Kitchener and Addison of Petersburg; four daughters, Mrs. Ervin Battler, Mrs. J. W. Armstrong, RR1 Petersburg, Mrs. Andrew Angwin, Detroit, and Mrs. James Taylor, RR2 Kitchener, 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. . . . Kitchener Daily Record 27 Feb 1940
