  Mrs. Joel Erb Passes In East Zorra Mrs. Joel Erb, formerly Catherine Gingerich, died Sunday at the home of her son in law, Nicholas Zehr, East Zorra. She was in her 81st year and had been ill for over a year. A native of Wilmot Township, she was born July 25, 1861, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Christian Gingerich. She married Joel Erb December 18, 1883, residing in E ast Zorra since that time. Her husband died in Sept., 1935. She was a member of the East Zorra Amish Mennonite church, 16th. line. Surviving her are one son. Jacob, of East Zorra, four daughters, Mrs. Jos. Albrecht, Tavistock, Mrs. Aaron Brenneman, South Easthope, Mrs. Chr. Bender and Mrs. Nicholas Zehr, East Zorra; one sister, Mrs. Chr. Steinman of Tavistock, twenty grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. The funeral was held from the home of her son-in-law, Nicholas Zehr, on Wednesday morning, to the East Zorra A.M. Church. Bishop Daniel Iutzi officiated. Interment was made in the adjoining cemetery.
