      Native of Puslinch Passes in Toronto After Short Illness

      A former widely known resident of this district, in Toronto, after an illness of about ten days. Wife of W. J. Abbott. Mrs. Abbott had resided in North Toronto for over twenty-five years and was popular with a large circle of friends. She was an earnest member of St. Monica's Church and an active member of the Christian Mothers' Association. Surviving are her husband; two sons, Harold and Wilfred; two daughters, Mrs. L. Whitehouse and Mrs. E. Corcoran, all in North Toronto; five sisters, Mrs. Tilk of Preston; Mrs. King in California; Mrs. Tucker in Sheffield; Mrs. Reeves of Hanley, SK; a brother, Will in Paris; and ten grandchildren.
