  GERBER, Amos L. Peacefully, on Thursday, May 23, 1985, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Amos L. Gerber, of 79 Church St., Millbank, Mr. Gerber was born in Wilmot township, 71 years ago. He was the son of the late Solomon Gerber and the late Laura Leis. He was a member of the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church and had farmed on the fifth line of Wellesley township, retiring to Millbank in 1975. Beloved husband of the former Mary Zehr of Millbank; dear father of Wilmar and his wife Marjorie of RR 1, Ray and his wife Elizabeth of Millbank, Laura (Mrs. Ron Hergott) of Millbank, Doris (Mrs. Wayne Zehr) of RR 1, St. Agatha, Doreen (Mrs. Rick Gingerich) of RR 1, Millbank; dear brother of Elmer, Solomon and Ohmer Gerber, all of Wellesley and Mose Gerber of RR 1, Wellesley; Emma (Mrs. Nick Schmidt), Esther (Mrs. David Schwartz), Sarah (Mrs. Ralph Leis) and Elmina (Mrs. Alvin Jantzi), all of Wellesley, Laura (Mrs. Elias Jantzi) of RR 1, Millbank. Lovingly remembered by 15 grandchildren. Predeceased by one brother and one sister. Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St., Wellesley, where family service will be conducted on Sunday, May 26 at 1 p.m., followed by the funeral service at Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church at 2 p.m., Bishop Arthur Gerber will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
