  ABERLE, Mary (Mrs. Roy J.) - Went home to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, December 16, 1997, Mary Aberle, of Elmira. Loving and devoted wife of Roy J. Aberle. Dear mother of Jean Kohn of Toronto, Anne Adams and Pete Laurett of Marmora, Ont., Linda and Stephen Payne of Elmira. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Debbie and Frank, Dorothy and Gerry, Lynn and Carlo, Sharon, Lesley and Paul, Kim and Shad, Elisabeth and Michael and 11 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents John and Mary Jane Mullany, and her first husband, Hunter Stewart Houston. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, this evening (Thursday) from 7-9 pm. At noon on Friday, transfer will be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Elmira for funeral service at 2 pm, with Rev. Richard Frey officiating, followed by interment in Elmira Union Cemetery.
