- Mrs. Henry Schaefer - By Record Correspondent \endash New Hamburg
A resident of New Hamburg and district all her life, Mrs. Henry Schaefer, 75, died at her home, Jacob St., Thursday night. She had been in failing health for 15 months.
She was born on Bleams Road, Wilmot Township, Oct. 6, 1877 a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Heintz. Following her marriage to Henry Schaefer in October 1902, they farmed on Bleams Road on the outskirts of New Hamburg. She was a member of the New Hamburg Baptist Church and before her illness was active in the women's organizations of the church.
Surviving are her husband and three sisters, Mrs. Henry Nahrgang, Miss Catharine and Miss Emma Heintz, all of New Hamburg.
The body will rest at the Futher-Omand Funeral Home until Monday at 12:30 p.m. when removal will be made to the Baptist Church for service at 2 p.m. Rev. Walter. B. Fischer will have charge of the service. Burial will be made in Riverside Cemetery. Friends are asked to pay their respects prior to the Service.
