Notes - TIMMERMEISTER, Dieter Max - Passed away suddenly, at the age of 67, at his home in Waterloo, on Sunday, June 2, 2002. Beloved husband of Irmgard, his wife of 41 years. Loving father of Cathy and her husband Russ Stuebing of Waterloo and Susan and her husband Craig Rodger of Acton. Amanda and Jamie Stuebing, and Fischer (the dog) Rodger will miss their Opi very much. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his sisters, Christa Dibbern, Ute Bahr and husband Hans; sisters-in-law, Lenchen Bredfeldt and husband Otto, Ruth Haupt and husband Heinz, all of Germany; brothers-in-law, Heinz Kobialka and wife Irma of Aurora and Horst Kobialka and wife Brigitta of Victoria, B.C.; as well as 11 nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Friedrich and Frieda Timmermeister. Dieter was born on February 15, 1935 in Hamburg, Germany. He came to Canada in 1957 after training as a Precision Mechanic. He met his wife, Irmgard in Toronto and moved to Waterloo in 1971, where he saw his children grow up and start their families. Dieter retired in 1999 after selling his business, Tri-D Automotive in Port Clinton, Ohio. He will be remembered as a kind and generous person and as a successful businessman. In keeping with Dieter's wishes, there will be no visitation. A memorial service to celebrate Dieter's life will be held at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, June 7 at 3 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Pilgrim Lutheran Church can be made through the funeral home by calling 745-8445 or www.edwardrgood.com.
