    • ROSENBERGER, Ida - It is with celebration and also great sadness that we mourn the passing of Ida on December 2, 2006 with her family by her side, at her residence Nithview Home, New Hamburg. She was born 101 years ago in Elkton, Michigan and was the daughter of the late Noah and Elizabeth (Schultz) Rosenberger. Ida retired from teaching Home Economics in Huron County and ending in Saginaw, Michigan. She was a member of Bethel Evangelical Missionary Church, New Dundee and was a faithful supporter of the Missionary church in Michigan and Ontario. Ida is lovingly remembered by her brother Veron (Dorothy) Rosenberger of Surprise, Arizona; her sister Orpha Meyer of Kitchener. She was predeceased by five brothers, two sisters, Lucinda Eckstein (1990) and a sister in infancy in Michigan; also brothers-in-law, Oliver Eckstein, Edwin Meyer and nephew Larry Meyer. Remembered with love by nieces, Shirley (Elmer) Poll of New Dundee, Ann (Roy) Parker of New Hamburg, June (Bob 1998) Rieck of New Dundee, Marilyn (Del 2005) Swartzentruber of New Hamburg, Judith (Chuck) O'Day of Lockport, New York, Ruth Ann Meyer of Elmira and nephews, Waldron (Doreen) Eckstein of New Hamburg, Peter (Vicki) Rosenberger of Tremonton, Utah, Carl Meyer of Prince George, British Columbia and Roy Meyer of Los Angeles, California, as well as many great nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg on Tuesday December 5, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.. The funeral service to celebrate Ida's life will take place on Wednesday December 6, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Bethel Evangelical Missionary Church, New Dundee with Pastor Dennis Bells officiating and Pastor Graham Burkhart assisting. Interment in Union Cemetery, New Dundee. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Leprosy Missions or Bethel Women's Ministries.
