  Fatal Accident The Berlin News says: Miss Amanda Zeigler, an employee of the shirt factory, met with a fatal accident. She was bending down to attend to something under the table, when her hair, which she has been wearing in a long braid, caught the shafting which runs the machinery on the table. She was drawn in and actually carried around the said shaft, which, being thus choked up, ceased to revolve the belt being rather loose. On examination it was believed that no bones except that in her thumb were broken, but paralysis of the lower extremities set in shortly afterward, and the unfortunate girl expired on Saturday.
