On Wednesday, May 28, 1997, at his home, Cec Bolender, in his 71st year, of RR 5, Owen Sound formerly of Elmira. Loving father of Diane and Roy Springer of Elmira, Wendy and Oliver Pierobon of Bolton, Brenda and Fraser Munro of Lakefield; fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Tracy and Christopher Springer, Jessica and Alex Pierobon and great-granddaughter Brianna; also survived by two sisters, Gladys and Fern and one brother, Morley. Cec owned and operated Bolender Motors in Elmira for many years. Predeceased by his parents, Edward and Angeline Bolender and a number of brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, today (Thursday) from 2-4 and 7 - 9 p.m., where funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11 a.m., followed by cremation.
