Notes - THERRIEN, Florence Jean (nee Birgeneau-Frankish) - Passed away, peacefully, on Wednesday, August 8, 2007, in her 98th year, at Columbia Forest Long Term Care Residence in Waterloo. Beloved wife of the late Herbert Birgeneau of Lindsay, ON and the late Earl Therrien of Penetang. Loving mother of James (Pamela) of Port Perry, Joanne (Dr. Ted Coney) of Waterloo and William (Nell) of Pefferlaw and the late Herbert of Keswick. Cherished grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Florence will be fondly remembered by her extended family and friends. Guests will be received at McDougall and Brown Funeral Home, Scarborough Chapel, 2900 Kingston Rd., just east of St. Clair Ave. E. on Friday, August 10, 2007 from 6-9 p.m. and on Saturday, August 11, 2007 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11: 30 a.m. Interment to follow at Elgin Mills Cemetery, Richmond Hill. Very special thanks to the staff at Freeport Hospital and Columbia Forest Long Term Care for the ongoing love and exemplary attention given to our mother over the past 3 years. In lieu of flowers, donations in Florence's memory directed to the Juvenile Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
