  Erb, Mrs. Christian - On Saturday, Sept. 6, 1980, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Mattie Erb of the Fairview Mennonite Home, Cambridge, formerly of Kitchener and Millbank. She was born in Reading Minn. 80 years ago. She was a daughter of the late Joseph K. Gerber and the late Magdalene Kropf. She was a member of the Riverdale Mennonite Church, Millbank. Dear mother of Earle of Walkerton, Rev. Raymond of Leo, Ind., Lloyd of Paisley, Verna (Mrs. Lorne Leis) of Route 4, St. Pauls, Clara (Mrs. Earl Meyers) of Kitchener, Betty Ann of Cambridge, Wilma (Mrs. Floyd Good) of Route 1, Plattsville, Erma (Mrs. Ross Shantz) of Route 2, Petersburg, Grace (Mrs. Freeman Mast) of West Farmington, Ohio, Doris (Mrs. John Van Trigt) of Port Elgin, Helen (Mrs. James Ewing) of Route 1 Waterloo. Beloved sister of Emmanuel Gerber of Fairview, Mich. Also survived by 37 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, Christian R. Erb, Dec 6, 1969. also by seven brothers and six sisters. Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, Wellesley, until noon Tuesday Sept 9, when removal will be made to Poole Mennonite Church for funeral service at 2: 30 p.m. Rev Simeon Jantzi will officiate. Interment to follow in Riverdale cemetery Millbank. Expressions of sympathy may be shown by contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart Foundation or the Mennonite Central Committee.
