    • Death of Mr. Francis E. Tye

There died at his residence, Cottage Grove, Wilmot, on Saturday last, one of the most respected residents of Wilmot in the person of Mr. Francis Tye, son of the late Daniel Tye, Esq. We are without particulars as to the cause of Mr. Tye's death, but we can safely say that no man will be more regretted than hearty and genial "Frank." Mr. Tye was in the 55th year of his age at the time of his death, and he was buried with Masonic honors in St. James Cemetery, on Monday.

      _______________

      A Sad Case

Further particulars regarding the death of Mr. Francis E. Tye, of Wilmot, have been received since our last issue. It appears that Mr. Tye was troubled with a corn, and undertaking to pare it he cut it so close that the blood came. Inflammation at once set in, followed by blood poisoning, which terminated fatally on Saturday. Mr. Tye leaves a window [sic] and three children to mourn his death, as well as two brothers \endash Mr. Henry D. Tye and Robert C. Tye, - both residents of Wilmot , and both well known and respected throughout the county.
