• Notes

  Death claimed one of our old and well respected citizens on Tuesday of this week in the person of Jac. Anderson in his eightieth year. The deceased had been in failing health for the past year but was able to be around all the time up till last Wednesday when he suffered a paralytic stroke and he gradually kept getting weaker until the end came Tuesday morning. He leaves to mourn his loss three sons and three daughters, namely, Fred of Castora, Alta., Edward and Karl at home and Mrs. H. Llwyd who has been at home with her parents this summer and Mrs. Murray L. Jukins and Miss Anna, of New York. Funeral was held on Thursday morning from his late residence to the R. C. Church, New Hamburg, and from thence to the R. C. Cemetery. New Hamburg Independent, October 10, 1930
