  MARTIN, Melvin H. Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, October 6, 2016, at the age of 88 years. Melvin Martin was the beloved husband of the late Melinda (Martin) Martin (2006). Dear father of Maryann Martin of RR 3, Waterloo, Salome and Amsey Martin of RR 2, Wallenstein, Elmeda and Amos Martin of RR 3, Waterloo, Lucinda and Cleason Martin of Val Gagne, Ontario. Loved grandfather of 21 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He is survived by a brother Simon (Selina) and a sister Esther H. Martin. He was predeceased by his parents Aaron and Leah (Hoffman) Martin, two brothers and a sister. Visitation will take place at the home of Cleon Martin, 1346 Three Bridges Road, RR 1, St. Jacobs, on Saturday, October 8th and Sunday, October 9th from 2-6 p.m. The family service will be held at 9 a.m. on Monday, October 10th at the home of Cleon Martin, then to Conestoga Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service.
