    • Funeral Largely Attended

      The funeral of the late Edward Tye, who passed away last Friday afternoon, April 4th, after an illness of over a year, was held from his late residence here in Haysville on Tuesday, April 8th, and was largely attended. Rev. A. S. Mitchell had charge of the service, assisted by Rev. Wm. Creary of Harrow, a former rector of this parish, and Rev. Herbert Johnson of Parkhill, A short service was held at the house, conducted by Rev. Mr. Creary, and from thence to St. James' Church and cemetery. The late Mr. Tye was born on the farm where he died. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Tye, and was well and favorably known in this community. Besides his wife, he leaves to mourn his loss three sister, Mrs. Henry Walker of Pine Hill, Mrs. Wm. Graham and Miss Lucy Tye of Galt, and one brother, Charles of Vancouver, B. C., besides numerous other relatives. The pall bearers were Robert and Brooks Puddicombe of New Hamburg. John Puddicombe of Winona, Fred Walker of Detroit, Dr. Percy Tye of Milverton and R. T. Puddicombe of Haysville. Among those present from a distance were Dr. and Mrs. Percy Tye of Milverton, Mrs. Wm. Tye and daughter Edrl of Goderich, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Graham, Miss Lucy Tye, Mr. Hardisty and Miss E. Balingal of Galt, Miss Mary Puddicombe of London, Mr. Sidney Smith and Sidney Johnson of Stratford. Miss Nellie Philip of New York, Mr. Fred Philip of Toronto, Mr. George Phillp of Kitchener, Mr. John Graham of Scott's Corners, Misses Mary and Dorothy Walker of Kitchener, Mr. John Puddicombe of Winona, and Mr. Fred Walker of Detroit.

      Died At Haysville, on Friday, April 4th, 1924, Edward H. Tye In his 59th year. The Funeral Will take place from his late residence on Tuesday, April 8th, at 2 o'clock p.m., to St. James' Cemetery, Huron Road.
